To celebrate the launch of the UNESCO Archives' Digitization Laboratory, we invited UNESCO's Member State Delegations to attend Information Days on the 17th and 18th of April 2018. During these two days, the Project Team led guided visits of the Laboratory and explained the digitization process in detail, from the preparation of the material to the intricacies of quality control. Over 25 Delegation members participated in the Information Days. The Information Days also provided a forum for exchange of ideas on various aspects of UNESCO's digitization project, and the safeguarding and access to UNESCO's archives in general.
With this project, the UNESCO Archives has started its digital transformation, but it will be thanks to your support and to the continued support of Members States that it will be able to continue. If you want more information, or if you want to contribute to this project, contact the UNESCO Archives.
